Anyone makes their own dog food?

my dog hates the kibble(the round hard food). she currently eats only the green, red, and orange pieces of this:

which is not healthy at all. I guess she only eats those because it is soft? i have no idea. She has tried other brands, like beneful bits, and the moist and meaty.

Well i need a recipe for a softish dry food.

i am not worried about the complete nutrition recipes, she eats it with soft food(don't worry its healthy) I would prefer a grain free recipe.

and please no raw.

thanks!Anyone makes their own dog food?
The same thing happened to me. I recommend feeding Blue Buffalo or Castor and Pollux Organix. All you have to do, is put in 1/2 - 1 cup of warm water in her food, let it sit for about 5 minutes, and then give it to her to eat.Anyone makes their own dog food?
Why on earth do you want to feed your dog a grain free recipe? Your dog needs grains in its diet to be healthy, thats why nearly all dog foods have grains! When My pup is sick I give him a little rice with chicken broth (as low sodium as possible) and some bits of chicken. He loves it and it makes his tummy better. I suppose i could feed it to him every day if it wasn't a pain to prepare and expensive.
While looking for cookbooks online I found a book that has hundreds of recipes from a lot of the famous restaurants including Red Lobster, Applebee's, Olive Garden and The CheeseCake Factory just to name a few. It is loaded with great recipes that I love. Save Money - Just imagine the sheer amount of cash you will be able to save just by cooking these dishes yourself at home! I've tried homemade food, but I only gave my dogs several nutritional deficiencies no matter what supplements I gave them, so I don't recommend it.
Feed her canned food then. It's better than kibble anyway.

Personally I'd feed pmr but whatever.Anyone makes their own dog food?
Why no raw? I cannot understand this whatsoever. That is the ONLY food that a dog should ever eat. It's what I feed, and even vets who are against it tell me how much healthier my dogs are than the kibble-fed dogs.

Also, Kibbles n' Bits is one of the WORSE dog foods to feed them, ever.

Try Taste of the Wild, WellnessCORE, Orijen, or Blue Wilderness. You can buy Blue Wilderness at Petsmart for about $45. I read somewhere on here that someone paid about $25(maybe $35) for Taste of the Wild.

EDIT;;
DO NOT buy Science Diet. Yuck. This food has an F in dog food nutrition.

EDIT TWO;;
People actually believe dogs need grains? That's crazy. Good job for wanting a grain-free diet XD But, yeah, Kibbles n' Bits and Beneful are VERY low on the nutrition scale. Read the ingredients. What I say is, if you can't pronounce it or have no idea what that certain ingredient is for, it's not useful.

In kibbles, there's a lot of things that do need to be added, but it doesn't make them as good as raw.

I forgot to mention that if you get canned food(PLEASE make sure it's good), give her bones that will help clean her teeth(unless you are okay with brushing her teeth regularly).
you should invest in something more expensive.like blue buffalo or science diet something like that in petco.my dog is very picky too she just only wants the cesar trays.but she cant have that all the time.or if she doesnt want too eat the little balls mix it with canned food.or some sauces they sell at petco .im sure he would love to eat that.
