Whats a homemade dog food recipe?

That I can feed my dog everyday? Not a raw meat diet.Whats a homemade dog food recipe?
Here's some things your dog can eat, so I guess you can be creative and think of something.

Some Fresh Fruits
Slices of apples, oranges, bananas, and watermelon make tasty treats for your dog. Be sure to remove any seeds first, though. Seeds, stems, and leaves can cause serious problems.

Some Vegetables
Your dog can have a healthy snack of carrot sticks, green beans, cucumber slices, or zucchini slices. Even a plain baked potato is OK. Be sure, though, not to let your dog eat any raw potatoes or any potato plants it might have access to in your garden.

Cooked White Rice and Pasta
Dogs may enjoy plain white rice or pasta after it's cooked. And, a serving of plain white rice with some boiled chicken can sometimes provide welcome relief from gastrointestinal upset.

Lean Meats
Most dogs are fine eating lean cuts of meat that have been thoroughly cooked. Be sure to remove all visible fat - including the skin on poultry. Also be sure that there are no bones in the meat before you give it to your dog.

But, here are some recipes:

Be careful with cooked homemade diets... You lose a lot of the nutrients dogs need when you cook the meat, so raw is much, much better. If you're squeamish about raw meat, you can start with cooked, and then transition slowly to a raw meaty bones diet. But if you're certain about cooked food, be sure to do lots of research about supplements.

In a raw or cooked diet, remember-- dogs need to eat meat. Things like pasta and rice are unnecessary fillers. They'll only increase your dog's weight and bulk up his stool. There are many schools of thought about fruits and vegetables... After doing TONS of research for my own dogs' raw diet, I think that fruits and vegetables are pretty unnecessary extras. I do include fruits and vegetables as about 5 percent of their diet, though, just in case.

An excellent book about home-cooked and raw diets: Raw and Natural Nutrition for Dogs: The Definitive Guide to Homemade Meals by Lew Olson. A couple other fantastic books about transitioning to raw: Raw Dog Food: Make it Easy for You and Your Dog by Carina Beth MacDonald, and of course, Raw Meaty Bones Work Wonders by Tom Lonsdale.

Good luck!
I normally feed my dog plain dry food, but I wanted to try something different for him, so I made the "Woody's Wolf Down" recipe from this page - http://www.associatedcontent.com/article鈥?/a>

He loved it (but he loves EVERYTHING!)... when I have time, I'll try the other recipes!

I hope your dog likes whatever recipe you end up trying for him/her!Whats a homemade dog food recipe?
I agree with Beanbell.

You would have to be extremely careful feeding the same thing every day for sure.

I know Cookie on here always recommends Monica Segal.

I feed a raw diet and also do not feed much in the fruit and veg department.
