Pitbull puppy (3 months old) raw food? homecooked?

I'd like to start making my own food to feed to my dog. Does anyone have and tips or recipes? suggestions? Thanks. Also I am thinking about starting my pup on a raw meat diet. Raw diet is the best thing you can do for your dog. I've just recently started my dogs on it. The earlier you start, the better.



Start with raw chicken quarters. Chicken is very agreeable with most dogs, and the quarters have a high bone ratio which helps keep stools firm for newbies. Stick with the chicken quarters for a week or two, then slowly introduce new meats and organs. A balance raw diet should consist of a variety of meats, as well as bones and offal (organ meat); the ratio should be 80/10/10 (meat/bone/offal).



You can give your pup an entire quarter (leg and a thigh) bone-in, and just let him tear into it. Raw is really a lot easier than homecooked... because you don't have to cook it ;)

feeding your pit bull doesnt build them anymore than regular food...I feed my pitts Nutro High Protien diet and they are gaining weight...
