THANKS!!!!!Homemade dog food recipe?
My recipe:

1 quart zip lock bag full of meat (liver, heart, tongue, etc. etc)
1 cup chopped carrots
1 cup chopped celery
2 cups rice
1/2 cup oatmeal

Cut meat into small chunks and simmer in large 4 quart pot.
As it simmers, chop veggies in your food processor. Add them to the simmering pot.
stir regularly till all is partiallly cooked.
Add water to at least 1" above the meat/veg mix
simmer 10 to 20 min so water becomes a meat gravy.
have heat high enough that the water/gravy is bubbling.
Add rice and oatmeal. Simmer a few minutes, maybe 5, and then turn heat off and cover pot so rice absorbs all the remaining gravy.
Store overnight in closed container so it's cool.
NOTE: When you give the dog it's homemade dogfood, top the food with 3-4 dollops of plain yogurt. It's good for the digestion and dogs LOVE yogurt. If the dog is gassy, it can help with that.-!-Homemade dog food recipe?
It is very difficult if not impossible to give a growing pup the nutrition it needs by feeding a cooked, home prepared diet. This isn't a baby, it's a puppy and it's need for calcium will be difficult to meet unless you're feeding raw or a commercially prepared diet. I can understand the desire to not want to feed a prepared diet, but not your objection to raw. It's what your dog was designed to eat %26amp; not at all dangerous to him or you (with proper handling). Plus, it's much simpler to prepare. Do some heavy research before making a decision about what's best for your puppy. If you feel a maternal need to baby him, then knit him a sweaterHomemade dog food recipe?
http://k9aro.webs.com/treatrecipes.htm my dogs are fed raw, except my older dog who has hers cooked......today she has had poached chicken, with a mashed up potato and carrot and some biscuits made from chicken stock ( which the chicken cooked in) mixed with oatmeal and baked, until dried ( stored in a tin) as per recipe on website I gave. Tomorrow she is having liver and heart poached with some cauliflower %26amp; the biscuits, she gets lamb, beef, tripe, likes yogurt, looooooooves bananas and slices of appleHomemade dog food recipe?
from your last question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a> and your dog being only a 13 week old puppy until you do some serious research you should be feeding the pup a high quality puppy food.

Sorry but you don't know how to properly feed him and asking on here for specific cooked meals not knowing why which foods are included won't help you much.

Why is that you insist on feeding him something other than a high quality puppy food or a raw diet (which also would need to be researched for proper nutrition)?

Either feed the pup a high quality puppy food or thoroughly research a raw diet. While researching I suggest feeding him a high quality puppy food as his health should be more important while you are learning.
