Raw Food Diet?

Ok, for my mental health I've unknowingly adopted a raw food diet.



I'm afraid of food poisoning so I won't mess with sprouted things from the kitchen. No wheat, dairy or meat.



Has anyone tried this for other than getting thin; like for mental health?



Any good recipes out there?

I don't think that you should be eating any raw meats or dairy since you can get parasites that way.

However, a raw vegan diet is really good for your health. This means uncooked fruits, veggies and nuts. You do not have to eat 100% raw. Try 50% and then go up to 75% and then listen to your body. It will tell you what it needs.

There is nothing wrong with sprouting... just make sure that you wash all your fruits and veggies before you eat them so that you don't get e-coli or other icky things like that.

I have been eating raw fruits and veggies for over a year now and I have never had a problem. I actually feel healthier, stronger and more clear-headed since eating raw. I no longer feel like a couch potato after eating those heavy cooked meals.

I'm not telling you how to live, just giving you my suggestions and experiences with raw vegan foods.

I didn't do it for mental health ,I did it becasue I wanted to loose weight. I was really sceptical about it at first . I tried the all fruit diet and it really worked. I noticed the difference but then my mouth started to taste funny and a threw in veggie's and nuts. It really does work , give it about a week or two and you will see results. It is something you can do for a long time. I couldn't because i am an athlete and run 5-6 miles daily so by the end of the month I really needed more carbs and went back to my old ways. Stick to it and you will have the best diet of your life. A good recipe is shredding apples and sprinkling some sugar on it and then cooking the apples . It taste really good.Raw Food Diet?
Hi , you cannot have only raw food diet everyday

you can have salads and all before and after meals .

or weekly . you can have only raw food diet one day a week . you can make a fruit chaat for yourself with pieces of different fruits and added salt and lemon juice. you can have raw vegetables like tomatoes ,

carrots , radish ,cabbage , etc.
