This is a great question and you should do your research very carefully! Everyone is going to have their opinion but that does not mean it is the right food for your dog. I just lost my seven year old German Shepherd to cancer and that is when I went searching for the cause. I came across a website on the internet that shocked me into disbelief that I probably had poisoned my dog to death and didn't even know it. Most dog foods are loaded with hidden poisons and other obscenities I still have a hard time grasping. I am going to give you the website address so you can read this report and learn what is really in commercial dog foods and you can make an educated decision like I did on which dog food to buy! I wish you all the best!

There has been lots of links given on here in the past.

Just google Raw food for dogs and you are likely to get lots of websites.

I have a friend that writes a lot on raw and on what they need and what they don't. The first thing she writes is just how simple it is.

I don't have recipes. My dogs just a good selection of meats, bones, offal, fish %26amp; eggs per week and that supplies them with all they need.

Best of luck. You will notice a difference in your dogs very quickly. Their muscles tone up and their coats get really healthy. There are no smelly tummies and no smelly breaths. Good on the inside and good on the outside.Raw Food diets for dogs?
The best known raw diet is the BARF diet. Look for a book by Ian Billinghurst called 'Give Your Dog A Bone'. It is the pioneer of the BARF diet tradition and is immensely popular. It has its detractors, but the book does warn about any potential risks. It leaves you to decide what you think is best for your dog.

My Alaskan Malamute is fed raw veg, white meat, fish and fruit and she is completely healthy.
You can start reading this blog article i browsed on the net while I was checking myself about raw food diet.
