Need to give up meat. I've never liked veggies so I need tasty recipes cooked or raw. prefer natural, no additives or preservatives. I need to avoid fried food. I'm a T2 diabetic. Any desserts made with Splenda would be appreciated. Easy recipes would be nice, I don't have much energy. After being diagnosed with diabetes I lost 20Lbs w/o trying and I only weighed 125 to start with. I don't have much of an appetite. I think it would be best if you talked with a dietician to find a proper diet for you. It isn't healthy to start a new diet when you are that much lower than normal.



Anyway, here's a few recipes.



I like to roast broccoli in a 450 degree oven coated in olive oil, fresh garlic, and shredded onions.



Also, I slice eggplant up to about half an inch (soak in water for a few minutes to bring out the sweetness). Then I layer it with olive oil, a thin slice of tomato, and some shredded cheese on top. Throw it out and eat a big juicy steak. Yum.
