http://www.rawfoodplanet.com/bio.html is a decent resource for you.
Victor Kulvinskas, Ann Wigmore (now diseased) and Elliot Rosen are all people whose dietary focus has been on raw food.
It is definitely an all consuming diet in terms of time and energy. And yes, your education begins with all those unusual items you are already complaining about. You will need a dehydrator, a food processor, and tons of time to prepare your food. And while you may want to incorporate some more raw foods into your diet -- may I caution you that in a temperate climate it is incredibly hard on the body to live on a raw diet. In fact all those I know who have tried it have given up on it fairly quickly -- except for Elliot who lives in Hawaii which is not in a temperate zone.
Furthermore, I have never met anyone -- who lived on a raw diet healthfully. Yes, that includes Ann Wigmore. Her business manager (Brian) told me as he stood in my kitchen eating a full plate of my cooked food, that he ate 60% cooked vegetarian foods because it was necessary for one of them to be able to function in the world. Most raw foodists seem to have decided to be raw because already unhealthy they were trying to establish health. So yes, for a detox, in cases of acute life threatening illness I think it is a decent route to take for a time, but to live on it permanently? No, not for a lifetime, why be so idiosyncratic about your diet? Hence, I feel a need to caution you about your decision; and at the same time point you in the direction of those who are the chief proponents of it who may have better information for you than I. Good luck. What are some foods that raw vegans can eat to make up for not eating meat, pastas, and more?
Doing a search for "raw food recipes" gave me a site that I have linked below.
A person doesn't really need to "make up" for not eating a whole lot of meat and especially pasta in their diet. Just to be sure you reap the full benefits of a raw diet, you ought to speak to a nutritionist for suggestions as well, even if it is just a one-time consultation, and also to make sure you don't end up with health issues.

there are no such foods, that's why vegans need to take pills, shows you how "natural" veganism is.
