What food is best for dogs, commercial, Barf diet or home made?

Im preparing myself for when I get a new dog next year and heard commercial isn't good for dogs because it contains 4% meat the rest is crap and way too much water.

Everywhere says the barf diet is the best then other sites say raw food isn't good for dogs, which brings me to home made. A lot of the recipes sound good but all of them contain vegetables. How do you get dogs to eat them? my last one would starve herself before touching cooked or raw veg. What food is best for dogs, commercial, Barf diet or home made?
I feed a prey model raw diet. Meat, edible bone, and organs. No veggies, unless one of the kids drops them on the floor.

Dogs don't need veggies, and in order for them to get anything out of them they have to be pureed. To much work for to little benefit. They get everything they need from meat/bone/organs.What food is best for dogs, commercial, Barf diet or home made?
i kept my rottie on Wellness for a while, its pretty good, it keeps them filled up and not going hungry so fast, but he got tired of it, and he would not eat it unless i mix it with cooked chicken breast. then he started loosing weight, so i switched to royal canine, and he was gaining his weight back, but royal canine has too much corn, and its not good for dogs ( my friend told me this but he still feeds his husky royal canine and now hes really fat.)

right now in the morning i give him raw chicken breast/veggies usually, and Raw diet is actually good for your dogs, google search and youll see why most people go raw diet.

good luck
While some of the high quality kibble is better than the ingredients you mentioned, I choose to feed my dog a prey-model diet.

I occasionally give my dogs carrots because they like to chew on them and it keeps them occupied but I don't necessarily think they need the nutrients as a regular part of their diet. What food is best for dogs, commercial, Barf diet or home made?
Hi , i have had dogs for 36 yrs mostl fed tinned / kibble .I am changing my current dog to BARF .She is quite ill %26amp; i have done lots of research ,seems like this is a far better diet .Veg ,i would suggest puree ing ,to break down the cellulose %26amp; aid digestion . I think the theory is -if they eat a whole rabbit it will have part digested veg in its tummy .A lot of beneficial things are killed off when meat is cooked .I tried this before on an ill dog %26amp; i think it helped him .If BARF works this time , i will stick with it .
All my shelter dogs eat pedigree..all that natural stuff is just a scam for these finiky breeder dogs. What food is best for dogs, commercial, Barf diet or home made?
orijen

trust me on this one
I prefer dry dog food, plus some margarine, and egg, and occasional green beans (left over) or chicken or burger if we have some left over.

I had a cockapoo that looked like a cocker. I fed her Science Diet until she was 4. Her hair was SO soft, shiny and beautiful, her eyes gleamed. After 4 years, I got a huge yellow lab, and couldn't keep the dogs from eating each others food. I switched to Purina dry food for both, and they both lived to be 16, but the cockapoos fur didn't shine like it had and wasn't as soft. Purina is fine--it's good food, but Science Diet was better.
my dogs eat Purina. it rocks.
