The only thing i can eat [ that i kno of ] in this house is salad, pistachios [ maybe. . i have to check to see if they are roasted or anything like that ], tangerines, %26amp; bananas.
Does anyone have any easy to make raw food recipes or at least some food ideas next time we go to the grocery store?Grrr Raw Food Diet . . .?
Carrots
oranges
broccoli
cabbage
mushrooms
onions
sugar snap peas (my fave for snacking)
cantalope
strawberries
onions
green onion or scallions
jicama
nuts
You could make coleslaw, fruit salad or just munch on any or all of the above. Just browse through the veggie section and just get enough to eat so that nothing goes bad. Good luck.Grrr Raw Food Diet . . .?
A pack of dried fruit is good, tasty, and full of, well, fruit. It is a little expensive, but it is worth it. Just for an idea, it includes banana chips, dried cherries, and other dried fruits. It kind of depends on the area. But some others are more trail-mix type, and also have nuts and the occasional candy piece (m%26amp;ms, mini chocolate chips, mini reeses pieces, etc.).Grrr Raw Food Diet . . .?
Well, as a teen that doesn't have parental support, it's going to be a very hard lifestyle change if you don't have a job. So, I definitely encourage you to try to talk to your parents about why you feel that this is a healthy diet, and maybe go with some research to back you up.
As long as you have fresh fruits and vegetables in the house it will be easy to find something raw to eat. But the thing that may get to you is not having enough variety and nutrients. And if you change your diet in this manner without your parents support, if you get sick they will probably use that as proof to you that the whole raw idea is bad. Instead of your limited food selection. So, with that said, try out the recipes on these websites. The smoothies are an especially yummy way to get your nutrients in.
