How tomake Wet food flavoring for puppy?

My dog eats a little dry food. I feed him Orijen. But when i add a little Alpo wet food on his dry food. He devours like he hasnt eaten in days.

Orijen is already very expensive, adding Alpo wet food makes it a bit more expensive. Is there a recipe on how i can cook or make wet food? I can buy pork or chicken, then put whatever.. please help me on this.

I do not want to mix raw with dry food. So i need a recipe for cooked meat with sauce to be added to his dry food.

Thank you. :)How tomake Wet food flavoring for puppy?
Orijen is very good dog food, maybe your dog doesn't like the flavor you have, Orijen has a few different flavors. If your dog was eating enough food before you started adding the wet food, then I would just go back to giving him just the dry food, it might take a few days for him to realize that he's not going to get the wet food anymore and he'll start eating his dry food again. but if he wasn't eating enough before then I'd try a different flavor of the Orijen. How tomake Wet food flavoring for puppy?
My dogs eat nothing but dry food as their staple. But, if I put down wet dog food (even right after they have been fed) they will gobble it down like they are starved. Why? Cause that is exactly what the manufacturer wants to happen.

Stick to the dry dog food and add wet only on occasion as a small treat. IE a small amount. The more regular their diet the better for them. Also, dry dog food is better on their teeth in the long run.

Of course the most important thing here is not how much the food costs, but how healthy it is. If you are already feeding them a healthy dry dog food, then there is no reason to change that.
Make up a pint of chicken stock, normal way.

Keep it in the fridge.

When make your dog food, warm the stock and mix with food.

It can be kept and cheap.

If you make it fresh from chicken bone, it's won't harm dogs. How tomake Wet food flavoring for puppy?

try just adding warm water to the dry food, i did it with my cocker spaniel who wasn't eating her dry food and now she eats it all. sometimes i also add a bit of cooked chicken or something else, but mostly just her dry food with warm water

I am wondering if it might be an idea to try a different flavour Orijen. My dog doesn't particulary like the the puppy or adult flavours, but loves Orijen Red. You can buy small sample size packs to try first rather than buy a big bag because it is expensive and the Orijen Red seems to be more expensive than the other flavours for some reason.
