Are all dried fruits raw?

I've heard that dried fruits can be eaten with a raw food diet, but are there restrictions to which types of dried fruit you can eat? Also, I want to make raw granola bars, is oatmeal (uncooked) considered raw? I'm VERY new to this so advice can help, and maybe mention which websites you like for recipes. Thanks! Are all dried fruits raw?
Well, most fruits are dried at lower temperatures to preserve taste and quality. However, some companies might dry them fast and hot. The best thing to do is to contact the producer of the dried fruit and ask them about temperatures.

There is no rules as to what you can or cannot eat on a raw diet, so long as the food is raw and unprocessed. BUT, some dried fruits are high GI. Dates, are. So if you want a dried fruit that is lower GI, you might eat things like dried prunes, apples, apricots and cherries, and be careful with fruits like dates.

Oats are rarely raw. They are usually steamed to keep them from going bad. This includes rolled, thick oats.

UNLESS you buy sprouting oats! If you buy the whole oats that folks use to grow sprouts, of course they will be totally raw. You can roll or crush them yourself. Are all dried fruits raw?

The rule of raw is that it is not brought above a certain temperature, so if you are eating dried fruits, it would probably not be considered raw because of the heat used to dehydrate. Check the sites out!

Good Luck!
For the purist technically neither can be considered true raw foods as both are processed at higher temperatures then are allowed of between 33 and 48 degrees C.

Just about all commercially available oats are steamed to give them a longer shelf life, though it is possible to buy "raw" oats online at considerable expense.

Dried fruit will be Ok if it is dried in the sun and labelled as such - e.g. Apricots from Turkey. You do need to read the labels carefully though as quiet often preservatives are used and the produce is freeze dried, destroying the nutrients in the process. Are all dried fruits raw?
Agent is correct, as well as the fact that some dried fruits are treated with chemicals to keep them from rotting. This is one of those things that you're going to really have to do your homework on and find a reputable vendor. I don't really eat any dried fruits other than Goji berries that are specifically labeled raw. I found these at Whole Foods.
