I guess it would be your choice because I would think that none of them make too much of a difference on taste...just texture. I personally give my son fresh fruits and veggies...he's one now so he has a few teeth to bite into them. HOWEVER, if you go to wal mart or target they have these little fishnet sucker things (munchkins makes them), where you put the food inside them (whatever you choose) and the baby sucks the flavor out, and with their gums is able to mash up the food so they can suck it out. My son LOVED these, and we never went anywhere without them. He was able to taste all sorts of foods because of these gadgets. If you're interested in making actual baby food, then I know walmart, target, and kmart all carry this little grinder (again munchkins makes it) that you put the food in, and then turn this handle and waalaa, you have yourself baby food. I wouldn't get too caught up in recipes for your child, because technically any kind of seasoning is bad for them...so just plain fruits and veggies would be best...good luck!Where can i find free home made baby food recipes?

that's what my mom did for me and my sister. check these sites out. also, once you puree it, pour the stuff into ice cube trays. they can be kept safely in the freezer for up to 3 months! althogh it is preferrable to use them within a month. put some plastic wrap over then top so nothng gets in them. but heres some linksWhere can i find free home made baby food recipes?
You dont particularly need a recipe!! Most store bought babyfoods are simply boiled and mushed together. You will not add any ingredients other than the fresh foods and some water to get the consistancy. Experiment a little, bland foods, potato, carrots, pumpkin, pear, apple, banana. I checked out the other website notAminiV suggested. its a helpful site!! Remember to keep it fun for you both it should be a time of discovery not stressful for you and your bubba. Best wishes
