Hi Plenty of stuff here. Cats are not humans and have a higher tolerance for germs and bacteria.

Well, you'll need a meat grinder, meat [such as chicken, salmon, beef, or whatever you want to use], eggs, various supplements, etc...

Separate muscle meat from the carcass to be cut into chunks by hand (or ground using an extra-large grinding plate) from meaty bones to be ground. Put them in two different piles. Cut the muscle meat into several chunks by hand. This is to give your cat something to chew on and get some good tooth and gum exercise. Put all the meat and organs in the refrigerator until you mix up the rest of the ingredients.

Separate the eggs and add the yolks to the mix of dry ingredients and water. Mix all together, adding the psyllium (if you're using it) last. Whisk together the "supplement slurry." The strange bright-yellowish color comes from the B-complex and egg yolk. This mixture contains water, fresh egg yolk, salmon oil, a wee bit of kelp, a teensy bit of dulse, a glandular supplement, Vitamin E, psyllium, and B-complex. You can also add some Taurine supplement to make up for possible lost Taurine in the meat and organ from freezing.

Take the meaty bones and organ meats out of the refrigerator and grind. Add the hand-chunked meat to the ground mixture and stir well, distributing evenly. Add the "supplement slurry" to that and mix again. Spoon the finished cat food into containers. Store the prepared food in manageable containers, like freezer baggies or one-cup plastic freezer containers. Wide-mouth Ball Mason glass freezer jars keep the food fresh longer. (Be certain to buy the "can-or-freeze" jars--not the plain canning jars.) Do not overfill. Leave at least a 1/2 inch gap or more at the top, because the food expands when frozen and you don't want the lids popping off.Anyone know some healthy homemade cat food? I need help?
You might think your doing your cat a favor by giving him delicious meats. You would think the meat simulates what they would eat in the wild, yet a cat in the wild does not live anywhere near as long as a domesticated cat. Cats in the wild have all kinds of bacteria problems with there digestive system. If you want your cat to live a long and healthy prolonged life then just feed him a good quality dry cat food and be diligent about only giving him cat food. I just switched my cat from a variety of different wet food and dry food combination to strictly dry food diet of Iams. He loves the stuff and has nice firm stools and now his breath doesn't stink. Trust me, dry cat food is engineered for a long and happy cat life.Anyone know some healthy homemade cat food? I need help?
I'm a big fan of independent health food stores for questions like yours.I would find one in your area and see if you might get some ideas.

Also small non-chain pet stores, such as the one in my neighborhood, stock very healthy brands of food.
Are you a nutritionist? Have any concept about physiology?

If not, stick to premium brand cat food. Iams or Science Diet or such like. They are not that expensive and are the only option for a balanced diet for your cat.

Don't buy supermarket cat food, as you say, it's junk.
